Project failure is far easier to come by than project success unfortunately. Today's post is meant mainly for fun in our serious world - or perhaps it's closer to the bone than that. The truth is, there's probably aspects of the below six points that most of us can relate to in one way or another, right? By the way, just to be clear, this isn't an endorsement of these - it's just an observation.
This list isn't exhaustive, but as a starter, adhere to these and you're well on the way to project failure:
1. Whip your team to higher performance
2. Save time, execute your project in one big step
3. Don't waste time on 'obvious' communications
4. Don't worry about all that 'unnecessary' planning
5. Know that all you really need is good old common sense
6. Satisfy your clients, no matter what, however 'ridiculous' the request might be
